Pia meets the Thai Princess

I was invited to a dinner in honor of the Thai Princess who was visiting UNC in May. It was very exciting to have a chance to meet her as she is so popular in Thailand and demands a lot of respect worldwide. I sat next to her childhood friend who was also part of the 5 person delegation.


This is a photo of the woman who was the Peace Corps county director while I was in Thailand. It had been 16 years since I last saw her and was very surprised to see her at UNC for the reception.
