Bear Valley in July!

Its taken me some time to sift through the great photos we have of our time in Bear Valley this summer. These photos are just a sampling of many that bring back great memories. We spent three weeks in the mountains.

Grandpa Donald and Sue came to visit for a weekend.

We took Lucian and Axel out on a paddle boat on Lake Alpine. Axel did really well sitting still but it was a bit more difficult for Lucian. Really fun, nonetheless.

Daniel pushed and tugged the raft from the big beach back to little beach (next to our cabin) with Axel sitting on top navagating.

We took two trips to Big Trees State Park and really enjoyed the tree tour as well as the educational programs they had each morning for toddlers.

Adam, Amanda, Ella, and Owen came for a 4 day visit. Here we are in the shade next to the Stanislaus River.

Linda was up in Bear Valley for 2 weeks while we were there. Here we are on top of Mt Reba.

We celebrated Lucian's second birthday on a rainy day with lots of friends.

We enjoyed many evening barbaques on the big beach next to Bear Lake. With the warm weather we did not need much bundling up as we watched the sunsets.

In the background is the Spicer Reservoir Dam. The lake was very low this year.
